Admissions arrangements

If you would like your child to come to our school, please see the information below (along with all the other information on this website, of course).

If you would like to arrange a visit to see the school in action, then please get in touch with the school office who will be happy to arrange a time for you to pop in. 

We provide a range of visits and workshops for parents/ carers and children before starting in our first year, which is called the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage). This enables children to become familiar with their new surroundings and to settle in quickly, and helps parents and carers in supporting their children. 

We use the Mowbray Education Trust (MET) admissions procedures and criteria.
Please read the admissions policy in the 'Policies' section of the website (in the 'Key information' heading).

We are happy to assist parents and carers with these procedures. Please speak to the school office.

To Apply for a School

The Admission Authority for Mowbray Education Trust is the Trust. Leicestershire County Council offer a
co-ordination scheme which we use to administer our admissions and appeals and links to this are within our policies or can be found below:

Appeals

All appeals are dealt with through the Leicestershire County Council schools admissions department.

You must have applied and been refused a school place before you can appeal.
